Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (GA_P) has hired Carlos de la Torre (pictured left), until now of counsel at Baker McKenzie, as its new labour law partner.
De la Torre holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree in corporate social responsibility from the IE Business School, a management development programme (PDD) from the IESE Business School, a highly specialised programme in EU law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a PhD from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
With more than 30 years of experience, the new partner of GA_P, is a labour and social security inspector on leave of absence and specialises in providing labour law advice to national and international companies, with special emphasis on company restructuring and collective dismissals, labour inspections, collective bargaining, substantial modifications, labour audits or subrogations of staff.
