GA_P advises Stoneshield student residences acquisition
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised European Student Accommodation, a fund managed by Stoneshield Investments, on the acquisition of two SPVs – Proud Coast and Integral Equational – , each owning a student residence in Alta de Lisboa. Stoneshield, a real estate investment company focusing on the Iberian market, has stood out as an active investor in student housing, managing one of the largest portfolios in Southern Europe.
The transaction was supported by a multidisciplinary team coordinated by Mafalda Barreto (pictured), head of the commercial, corporate, and M&A area, and comprised of lawyers Susana Morgado, João Bento Cardoso, and Matilde Menezes de Melo (commercial, corporate, and M&A), Madalena Caldeira (labor), Filipe Santos Barata and Matilde de Sousa Marto (banking and finance), Sofia Rodrigues Nunes, Afonso Scarpa, João Marques Rodrigues, and Mariana Machado de Oliveira (real estate), Ana Paula Basílio and Catarina Rosa (tax).
