GA_P advises on Substrate AI’s new SOCIMI

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Substrate AI on the incorporation of AI European Infrastructure SOCIMI, a new specialised company established to develop, promote and manage the real estate assets linked to the group’s artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The new SOCIMI has been created to serve as the vehicle for the development of strategic technology infrastructure projects, including data centres, advanced computing facilities and AI Factories, beginning with the project that Substrate AI is developing in Talavera de la Reina.

The transaction will enable the separation of the management of the real estate assets associated with these infrastructures from Substrate AI’s operational AI business. This structure is expected to facilitate investment from infrastructure and real estate specialists while supporting the growth of the group’s technology ecosystem.

The team was led by senior associate Jacobo Palanca Reh (pictured) and included Jaime Díaz de Bustamante, Iván Escribano Ruiz, José Ramón Pérez Álvarez-Robles, Beltrán García Modet and Santiago Mazzuchelli Morales from the firm’s corporate and real estate practices.
