Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Tekpolio on the acquisition of Irontec, advised by Cuatrecasas, a technology company specialised in open source software
Tekpolio, the family office of the Delclaux family, has acquired Irontec, a technology consultancy firm founded in Bilbao in 2003. After buying 100% of the capital from the founders, the new owner has placed at the head of the company a team led by Ignacio Uriguen, CEO, and Pablo Pérez Dapena, CFO, in addition to maintaining all the previous managers. In this context, two new positions have been added to Irontec’s management,
Irontec is a technology company based in Bilbao specialised in IT engineering and dedicated to open-source technologies applied to telecommunications and VoIP, infrastructures and systems, software engineering and development, data and cybersecurity, among others.
This deal, according to both companies, allows Irontec to take on the important technological and commercial expansion that it aspires to carry out in the next few years in the local, national and international level, allowing it to maintain and strengthen its decision centre in the Basque Country.

The GA_P´s team was formed by a Commercial team comprising partner Álvaro Mateo (pictured left), associate Andrés Castro and trainee Mónica Ojeda, together with a Banking team made up of, partner Rafael Aguilera (pictured right) and associate Carlos de la Luna, and Labour associate Jesús Tallos.
On the other hand, Cuatrecasas advised Irontec with a team led by partner Jose Ramón Berecibar Mutiozabal.
