Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised PAI Partners on the acquisition of Uvesco

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised PAI Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in Uvesco (BM Supermercados and Super Amara).

This acquisition, which is still subject to Competition approval, will according to sources, allow the company to accelerate its growth.

PAI Partners have closed the operation after months of exclusive negotiations through its mid-market fund, PAI MMF, with €920 million of assets under management.

The GA_P team was led by Pablo Fernández Cortijo (pictured left), Constantino Pérez Salgado (pictured right), Andrés Castro, Javier Reyna and Patricia Pérez, partner, counsel and associates of the Commercial team. Álvaro Mateo and Carolina Posse, partner and associate of the Commercial team, also advised on the framework of the reinvestment.
