Freshfields and Linklaters instructed on €2.2bn Urbaser deal

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised waste incineration company China Tianying on its acquisition of Spanish waste treatment firm Urbaser from ACS, which was advised by Linklaters.

 

The deal was valued at €2.2 billion, according to Mergermarket.

ACS’ sales totaled €16.4 billion in the first half of 2016, a decrease of 5.3 per cent year-on-year.

ACS’ profits for the period stood at €388 million.
