FORELAB elects Fermín Guardiola as new president

The Spanish Forum of Labor Lawyers (FORELAB) has announced the election of a new president, secretary general, treasurer, and executive committee for the next two years.

During its December meeting, the executive committee unanimously selected Fermín Guardiola, a partner at Baker McKenzie, as FORELAB’s president. Román Gil, a partner at Sagardoy Abogados, was appointed as secretary general and first vice president, while Raquel Alarcón, a partner at Torres y Alarcón Abogados, will serve as treasurer and second vice president.

The new executive committee, elected during FORELAB’s November general assembly in Madrid, includes prominent labor law professionals: Raquel Alarcón Fanjul (Torres y Alarcón Abogados); Mario Barros García (Uría Menéndez); Eloy Castañer Payá (Garrigues); Luis Enrique de la Villa de la Serna (Hogan Lovells); Rubén Doctor Sánchez-Migallón (Cuatrecasas); Román Gil Alburquerque (Sagardoy Abogados); Fermín Guardiola Madera (Baker McKenzie); Moira Guitart Carrero (Linklaters); Pilar Menor Sánchez (DLA Piper); Rosa Rodríguez Gutierrez (Roca Junyent) and Alberto Ruiz Bueno (Antràs Abogados)

These experienced professionals will contribute to advancing the association’s activities and initiatives. Under Fermín Guardiola’s leadership, FORELAB aims to strengthen its influence in labor law matters across Spain.

FORELAB is an independent association that brings together leading Spanish labor lawyers to foster professional collaboration and analyze the evolution of labor relations in Spain. The organization promotes training, research, and dialogue on labor and socio-economic issues through events, forums, and partnerships with national and international entities.
