FCB hires two associates

Portuguese law firm FCB Sociedade de Advogados has hired two new associates, Manuel Gil Fernandes and Nuno Epifânio.

Gil Fernandes specialises in corporate and M&A matters and intellectual property. He previously worked for Rui Pinto Duarte & Associados and CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut.

Meanwhile, Epifânio’s expertise included competition and EU law. Prior to joining FCB, he worked for the Hong Kong Competition Commission as well as the Portuguese Competition Authority.

Gonçalo da Cunha, co-managing partner of FCB, which is headquartered in Lisbon (pictured), said: “These two new hires represent added value to our firm and reflect our objective to integrate experienced and qualified professionals to reinforce our teams and allow us to provide an even better service to our clients”.
