Eversheds Sutherland hosts its first global HR convention

Eversheds Sutherland has hosted its first global HR convention at its Madrid headquarters. The event brought together HR managers from a total of eleven of the firm’s offices across the continent.

Through this convention, the firm seeks to implement the basic lines of the HR strategic plan at international level, defining the guidelines and guiding principles to ensure a global and common alignment of the firm in this area.

Last month, the firm appointed Jacobo Martínez, managing partner in Spain, as a member of the European Executive Committee to lead the HR area and the development programmes for partners and associates.

During the meeting, they discussed the five key pillars or objectives of the European HR strategy: Talent development; career path; flexibility and D&I; commitment to professionals; and finally, innovation.

“It is a great satisfaction to see how offices from different countries participate with great ambition and enthusiasm in a global HR policy that adapts to the local circumstances of the offices that make up Eversheds Sutherland based on common principles as a collaborative, creative, professional, open and inclusive firm,” says Jacobo Martínez.
