Eversheds Sutherland appoints Sixto de la Calle as corporate and M&A partner

Eversheds Sutherland has appointed Sixto de la Calle, until now ‘of counsel’, as the new partner in the Commercial and M&A department of the firm’s Spanish office. The lawyer joined the Spanish office in 2016 and heads the firm’s Private Equity practice.

A member of the Corporate and M&A Department and head of the firm’s Private Equity practice in Madrid, Sixto de la Calle has extensive experience in advising domestic and foreign industrial and private equity clients on M&A transactions, corporate restructuring processes and the sale and purchase of industrial companies or real estate assets, as well as advising investment funds on the acquisition of NPL portfolios.

With a degree in Law and a higher diploma in Business Management and a master’s degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa, he joined Eversheds Sutherland in February 2016, after having practiced in the Corporate departments of KPMG, Ashurst and CMS Albiñana y Suárez de Lezo.
