Beneteau is a French sail and motor boat manufacturer, with production facilities in France and in the United States. The company is a large and recognised boat builder, with its holding company (Groupe Beneteau) now also holding other prestige brands such as Jeanneau and its multihull subsidiary Lagoon in 1995.

A spokesperson said: “With this transaction, Beneteau acquires a new marine production unit in Valença, which will allow it to increase its production capacity, thus expanding its presence in Portugal and, consequently, in the European market, where it is already present in France, Poland and Italy.”

Beneteau was advised by Eversheds Sutherland FCB, through a team led by João Robles (pictured left), partner from the Corporate and M&A department.

In turn, the Rodman group was advised by Garrigues Portugal, through a team led by Tomás Pessanha (pictured right), partner from the Corporate and M&A department.”
