Eversheds Sutherland has promoted Teresa Villarroya to its partnership

pjimage 2022 02 24T090836.272Eversheds Sutherland has appointed Teresa Villarroya as a new partner for the Banking and Finance practice of the firm’s Spanish office. With the promotion of Villarroya, who until now has held the position of counsel, the firm reinforces in Spain a strategic practice for the firm at a global level.

Graduated in Law and with a Masters in Legal Advice for Companies from IE Law School, Villarroya began her professional career as a lawyer in the legal department of Vocento, after which she joined the Banking and Finance department of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. Likewise, Ella Villarroya has worked as a senior manager in the Banking and Finance and Corporate Law area at EY.

In July 2018, she joined Eversheds Sutherland, where she has been involved in all types of financing operations, mainly advising financial entities, both national and international. In this way, throughout her professional career, Villarroya has acquired extensive and proven experience in advising on project financing, especially photovoltaic solar projects, infrastructure and asset financing.
