Ecija advises Inetum on AI management system certification in Spain
Ecija has advised Inetum on the process to obtain UNE-EN ISO/IEC 42001:2026 certification from AENOR for its Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS), as the digital services company strengthens its approach to responsible AI governance.
Inetum has become one of the first organisations in Spain to obtain the certification, according to ECIJA. The standard provides an international framework for the responsible, secure and transparent management of artificial intelligence.
The certification marks a step forward in the governance of AI systems, as organisations increasingly seek to establish management frameworks for the development and use of the technology.
The team
Ecija’s team was led by Cristina Villasante Chamorro and Joaquín Vives de la Cortada. The firm said it was proud to have supported Inetum throughout the process, thanking the company for its trust in the team.
