DLA Piper presents its 8th M&A’s report

DLA Piper has presented its 8th M&A’s report hosting in its Madrid offices an event, to which Iberian Lawyer participated.
In particular, José María Gil-Robles and Joaquín Echánove, both partners of the corporate/M&A area, presented the report which includes the latest information on transactions and acquisitions and the main market trends for the next few months.
The venture capital market is growing and, year after year, generates a greater number of transactions, explained the partners.
While the mid-market currently generates significant deals for the law firm, the economy in general is still paying off the debts of the Covid-19 pandemic, stated both partners.
Among the sectors that generate the highest profits during the year, there are energy, agriculture, internet/IT, insurance, healthcare and biotech. These same sectors, the experts agreed, will most likely be those genarating the highest level of activity in 2023 too.
