DLA Piper advises on purchase of a residential portfolio in Madrid

DLA Piper has advised Elix Vintage on the purchase of a real estate complex in Madrid from Testa Residencial

DLA Piper has advised Elix Vintage, a socimi owned by Allianz Real Estate, acting on behalf of several Allianz group companies, on the purchase of a real estate complex in Madrid from Testa Residencial SOCIMI.

The complex consists of eight freehold buildings and a co-ownership interest in a ninth building, all of which are for residential and commercial use and are located on Félix Boix, Doctor Fleming and Carlos Maurrás streets in Madrid. The properties adjoin the Castellana 200 shopping and office centre, owned by Allianz.

DLA Piper’s multidisciplinary team advising on this transaction was led by Orson Alcocer (pictured), partner in charge of the Real Estate practice with Ángel Maestro, senior associate, and Julia Fernández, Alejandro Márquez, Carlos Sánchez and María Granados, associates in the Real Estate department. Also participating from the Corporate/M&A department were Joaquín Echánove, partner, Francisco Bachiller and Ana Izquierdo, senior associate and associate respectively. Jesús Palencia, Of Counsel, advised on the capital markets aspects of the transaction.
