Dentons guides Grupo Eliance´s acquisition and finance of five helicopters from Airbus
Dentons has advised Grupo Eliance and the bondholder’s syndicate led by MEAG on the acquisition of five Airbus helicopters and financing for €100 million
The Dentons Spain Asset Finance team has advised the Eliance Group on the acquisition of five new Airbus helicopters from the Waypoint Group and the bond syndicate led by MEAG and on the financing of this acquisition through the bond issue by the Eliance Group.
This new acquisition allows the Eliance Group, one of the leading helicopter operators in Spain, to increase its fleet, strengthening its position in the medicalised helicopters assistance sector.
According to the firm, the operation has allowed Dentons to once again support the Eliance Group and its bondholders, deploying its knowledge and extensive experience in aircraft acquisition, Asset Finance and Debt Issuance, strengthening its position as a leading aircraft finance firm in Spain.
Dentons advised Grupo Eliance with a team led by its managing partner and head of Banking & Finance Jabier Badiola (pictured), including Banking & Finance associate Ignacio Fernández, and Capital Markets partner Ignacio Corujo on the issuance matters. They were joined by B&F counsel Luis Belart and B&F associate Ana Artola. On behalf of Dentons Chile, the operation was led by B&F partner Juan Vigon.
