Dentons advises Starwood on Spanish property portfolio acquisition

Dentons advised Starwood Capital Group on the acquisition of a portfolio of office buildings in Spain from US investment management company Oaktree Capital Management and German property management company Freo.

The portfolio includes five office buildings, three of which are located in Madrid, with one in Barcelona and one in Alcobendas. In total, the buildings are 78,428 square metres in size and have 1,323 parking spaces. The buildings are leased to tenants including BBVA, Air France and Indra.

The Madrid based lawyers involved in the operation were managing partner Jesús Varela (pictured, top), counsel Itxaso López (pictured, bottom) and associate Manuel de Cueto.
