Dentons advises Sita on Big Blue Analytics acquisition
Dentons has advised Sita, an air transport technology solutions provider, on its acquisition of Big Blue Analytics, a Barcelona-based company specialising in artificial intelligence-enabled solutions for airline operations.
The transaction sees Sita acquire the developer of OCC Assistant Manager (OCCam), an advanced disruption management and optimisation platform that enables airlines to simultaneously manage aircraft, crew, passenger and maintenance constraints during operational disruptions.
Through the acquisition, Sita intends to leverage its global presence and aviation expertise to scale the deployment of Big Blue Analytics’ technology to airlines worldwide, while accelerating the development of next-generation intelligent Operations Control Centers, states Dentons.
