Deloitte Legal Telles has reinforced its technology, privacy & intellectual property practice with the integration of Graça Canto Moniz as coordinator of the technology, digital and cybersecurity area, as the firm responds to growing demand driven by rapid AI development, increasing regulatory complexity, and rising technological risks.
Graça Canto Moniz holds a doctorate in Law and an MBA from Insead, combining legal expertise with a practical focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, digital risk management, and regulatory innovation. Her career spans law, academia, and public policy: she previously served as CEO of a boutique firm specialising in cyber risk management, sits on the Commission for Access to Administrative Documents, and represents Nova School of Law on the Google Data Governance Chair.
She has also been actively involved in shaping public strategies for the data economy in Portugal and abroad, and is the author of several scientific works in the field, including publications in international journals and works cited in Portuguese courts.
