Deloitte Legal hires Juan Urbano as labour partner
Deloitte Legal has strengthened its Labour and Employment practice in Andalusia with the incorporation of Juan Urbano as a new partner, based in the firm’s Málaga office. The move is accompanied by the arrival of a team of five professionals specialised in labour law and social Security, bringing experience advising companies across several sectors in the region and knowledge of the Andalusian business landscape.
Juan Urbano joins a team with experience advising national and international companies, combining a multidisciplinary approach with sector knowledge to provide services tailored to each client’s needs.
The profile
With more than 15 years of experience, Juan Urbano has built his career advising companies across various sectors on Labour Law and Social Security matters. His practice covers advising companies on labour relations management, collective processes and restructurings, union relations, complementary social welfare, and special labour relations involving senior executives or professional athletes.
Prior to joining Deloitte Legal, he led the Málaga office of another firm specialised in this practice area in Spain, where he oversaw advisory work for entities in the financial, consumer and services sectors. Alongside his professional activity, he has maintained ties with academia as a lecturer in various training programmes and has contributed to specialised publications on Labour and Social Security Law.
