Deloitte advises Grupo Profand on Unión Martín
Deloitte has advised Grupo Profand on the acquisition of Unión Martín, a Canary Islands-based seafood group specialising in the production and distribution of seafood products.
Grupo Profand, the Galicia-headquartered multinational and one of the global leaders in the fishing industry, received multidisciplinary support from Deloitte covering tax, legal, labour and financial aspects throughout the due diligence process related to the target group.
The team
The Deloitte Legal tax team included Diana Soto López (partner), Antía López Caridad (senior associate) and Álvaro Caamaño Balvís (associate). The legal advisory team was formed by Carlos Reverter Rodríguez-Marqués (director), José María Ortiz Rubio (associate) and Carmen Cavada Moreno (junior associate), while the labour advisory work was led by Covadonga Roldán Moralejo (partner) and Sandra Gómez (director).
