December-January, 100th issue of Iberian Lawyer, now online

The December-January issue of Iberian Lawyer, celebrating 100 issues, is now available for free download

In this issue, Iberian Lawyer presents the 2020 Gold Awards winners that were announced during a gala night held fully online on November 26, presented and directed by Aldo Scaringella.

Besides, 30 heads of Spanish and Portuguese law firms give us their recap on 2020 and share with us their expectations on 2021. 2020 has been a complicated year for everyone, including the legal sector in the Iberian Peninsula. In this regard, the evolution of law firms has been very similar during the course of the different phases of the pandemic.

Proof of this uncertain scenario in which we lived in 2020 are the moves among law firms at partner level, with more conservative policies in Portugal than in Spain, and which we offer in a Special Lateral Hires, highlighting what we consider the Top ten lateral hires of Spain and the Top five of Portugal.

We also offer an overview on how the Iberian transactional market behaved from January to November (included). With data provided by TTR, we rank the Top Ten Best Spanish and Portuguese law firms by deal value, Top Ten Best Dealmakers from Portugal and Spain, and the Best Iberian deals.

In this commemorative issue, we wrap up the best of our sections; In-house, Private Equity, Young & Unstoppable, Partner Abroad, and some of our guests´ collaborations as the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC). You can also find a special article on our main covers during this year that is coming to an end.

Women in a Legal World vice president and founding partner María Llosent de Nárdiz shares with us her Letter to Santa, and Diego Cabezuela, international chairman of the World Compliance Association, reflects on how important this year has been for the Compliance world.

The magazine is now available in English and Spanish.
