D&P promotes Carmen Mencía to managing director

Duff & Phelps has promoted 32 colleagues to the managing director level, among them, Madrid office Disputes Consulting practice expert Carmen Mencía

According to the firm, Carmen Mencía Bastanchury (pictured) is part of the Disputes Consulting practice and has more than 21 years of professional experience in Disputes and Litigation support. She specializes in the preparation of technical and expert witness reports and their defense and ratification and has acted as an expert witness in major arbitration cases in Spain and Latin America.

She joined Duff & Phelps in February 2019 with the acquisition of Forest Partners, where she was a director. She previously worked at KMPG and E&Y. Carmen has a degree in Business Management and another in Law. She is a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA), the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Arbitral Women.
