Cuatrecasas selects nine companies for start-up accelerator
Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira has selected nine legal technology start-up companies that will receive the support of Acelera, its start-up accelerator.
The chosen companies will receive a range of benefits including mentorship – consisting of six sessions with an external facilitator – as well as a training programme covering topics such as marketing content, tools for design and innovation, trends, and financing.
The nine start-ups will also benefit from legal training that will include classes in law and taxation that aim to facilitate new investment and improve the scalability of their business.
In addition, the companies will have access to an online acceleration programme, via the Open Future platform, which is run in collaboration with Telefonica.
“One of the benefits of the programme is that it offers expertise and knowledge that will help entrepreneurs turn their ideas and startups into successful businesses with high potential for scalability,” said Francesc Muñoz, CIO at Cuatrecasas.
The nine start-ups accepted on to the six-month accelerator programme are:
– ARGON (online advice platform)
– Bigle Legal (customizable legal document provider)
– Councilbox (Cloud platform for legal meetings)
– Esto es legal (a virtual lawyer)
– Legaliboo (personalised contracts and legal documents)
– LegalUp (legal appointments platform)
– Marcaclic (platform for online trademark registration)
