Cuatrecasas names José Mª Echeverría-Torres tax partner in Aragón
Cuatrecasas has named José Mª Echeverría-Torres as partner responsible for its tax group in Aragón. The appointment sees him relocate from the firm’s Madrid office to Zaragoza, where he will lead tax advisory services for the region after more than two years of close collaboration with the local tax team.
Echeverría-Torres holds a law degree from the Universidad de Zaragoza and a Master’s in Tax Advisory from IE Business School. His practice focuses on corporate taxation, transactional tax, and family business advisory, with particular expertise in the planning of family business groups, M&A transactions, and corporate and patrimonial restructurings. He has sector experience in real estate and energy.

The Zaragoza office, which comprises more than 25 professionals, provides ongoing advisory services in tax, corporate and financial, employment, litigation, and public law. The office serves family-owned businesses and multinationals across sectors including agri-food, real estate, services, paper and cardboard, automotive, and transport and logistics, with a geographic reach extending across Aragón, Soria, La Rioja, and Navarra.
