Lucía Astarloa Araluce is a highly experienced lawyer who has advised national and international companies on commercial contracting, corporate governance, and corporate litigation. She is particularly specialized in resolving disputes within capital companies, having secured unique and groundbreaking judicial rulings in corporate conflict matters. In addition, she has extensive experience in statutory arbitration and litigation related to M&A transactions.
Astarloa holds a Law degree and a Diploma in Business Studies (E-1-E) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). She also completed a Postgraduate Program in Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis at Universidad Pompeu Fabra and later pursued the Advanced Arbitration Program at Universidad San Pablo CEU and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Beyond her legal practice, she is an associate professor at prestigious institutions, where she teaches corporate law. With this strategic move, Cuatrecasas reinforces its litigation team with a leading expert in corporate disputes and arbitration.
