Cuatrecasas advises Banco Sabadell on €1BN deal
Cuatrecasas has advised on Sabadell Consumo 4, the latest securitisation transaction sponsored by Banco Sabadell, involving a portfolio of consumer loans granted for personal, family and household purposes.
The transaction, which exceeds €1 billion in bond issuances, has been registered with the Spanish securities regulator, the CNMV, in accordance with the applicable securitisation framework. The bonds issued by the fund have also been admitted to trading on the AIAF fixed-income market of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME).
The securitisation has been structured to meet the requirements of a Simple, Transparent and Standardised (STS) transaction under the EU Securitisation Regulation.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on the transaction was led by Jaime de la Torre, partner in the financial and capital markets practice, with support from Jaime Juan Rodríguez Lozano, Ignacio Rebollo Monjo and Ramón Juan Solano Carpintero from the same practice area.
