Cuatrecasas and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advise on Michelin-Restaurantes.com deal

Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira advised Michelin on its acquisition of Spanish online restaurant booking company Restaurantes.com, which was advised by Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, according to Mergermarket.

More than 5,000 restaurants use Restaurantes.com services, through which 700,000 bookings were made in 2015.

“With the acquisition of this Spanish company headquartered in Madrid, Michelin is expanding its offer into a new high potential market,” a statement said.

“Spanish customers will benefit from Michelin’s expertise through a comprehensive and high quality range of services.”
