Cuatrecasas advises EVP on Korott Group acquisition

Cuatrecasas has advised the Euro Vital Pharma (EVP) Group on its acquisition of the Korott Group

Hamburg-based Euro Vital Pharma (EVP) is a pharmaceutical company that has developed over the last 25 years into the leading provider in the OTC private label retail sector in Germany. With its many years of experience in the development, manufacture and marketing of health products (own medicinal registrations, medical devices and food supplements), EVP supports its customers in the strategy and development of their private label business over and above the supply of products. Its customers include all leading companies for drugstore and food retailers as well as discounters.

Following the acquisition of Principle Healthcare, Group Korott further expands EVP’s European reach, product portfolio and own production capabilities while unlocking significant group-wide synergies. Korott’s experienced management team will reinvest significantly into EVP and remain with the company to continue the company’s growth path as part of a larger, pan-European player.

Korott Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vitamins, minerals, natural cosmetics, as well as sports supplements for the Spanish consumer healthcare market. Headquartered in Alcoy (Spain), the group operates a modern production facility with free capacities that can also be utilized by the EVP Group. Following the acquisition of Principle Healthcare (November 2020), the Korott Group further expands EVP’s European reach, product portfolio and own production capabilities.
