Cuatrecasas Acelera selects six startups for its 7th edition

Cuatrecasas Acelera has selected six startups focused on the legaltech, healthtech, energy and web 3.0 sectors to take part in its seventh edition.

The main novelty this year is the incorporation for the first time in the program of a portuguese startup, which has been selected from among more than 100.

The startups will meet on 18 and 19 october in Barcelona to participate in the first bootcamp of the new edition. During this meeting, they will start working on the development of their projects together with the legal and business mentors who will accompany them throughout the programme and will have the opportunity to meet some of the participants from previous editions at the alumni afterwork that has been organised to close the first day of training and networking.

In the second part of these sessions, to be held in Madrid on 22 and 23 november, the entrepreneurs will continue to receive mentoring from the firm through various presentations given by partners and lawyers specialising in the main areas of business law, which will include legal lectures on tax, labour, intellectual property and a session simulating negotiations with investors.

In addition to legal topics, business issues such as cybersecurity, growth hacking, UX/UI design, fundraising and finance, communication and sales, and corporate culture will also be discussed.

The projects selected for this new edition of Cuatrecasas Acelera are: Capboard (Legaltech – Spain), Clynx (Healthtech – Portugal), Dive Medical (Healthtech – Spain), Gocleer (Insurtech – Spain), Guzzu (Web 3.0 – Spain) and Linking realities (Web 3.0 – Spain).
