CREEL opens in Madrid

Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C. has announced the opening of its first international office in Europe, located in Madrid.

The European office will only provide Mexican law advice. The office is expected to become fully operational in late January 2023, and will be initially led by partner Iker Arriola (pictured) with the support of a team of associates. Arriola focuses his practice on Corporate and M&A work and has over 25 years of experience in domestic and cross-border M&A and other transactional projects.

Carlos Aiza, the firm’s senior partner and chairman, said: “While this is still a modest investment in terms of size, we expect that this initiative will have a significant positive impact in the way we deliver our Mexican law service offering to our European clients conducting business in Mexico, to our Mexican clients conducting business in Europe, and to our dear friends and colleagues from the leading law firms throughout Europe. We have pledged to all of them that we will continue to go out of our way to add value to their endeavours with innovation and creativity, and we are convinced that this is another solid step in that direction. We have full confidence in Iker’s leadership and drive as our office head in Europe.”
