Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners appoints Javier Prados as Madrid Legal director

The lawyer has been, for the last two years, Legal director at Alten Energías Renovables

Prados (pictured) has extensive expertise in incorporation, coordination, restructuring and leading in-house legal teams in Spain and abroad (Brazil, US, Mexico, India). He has always worked in multicultural teams and has a high capacity of adaptation and strong social capabilities and a commercial profile.

He specialises in Commercial Law both national and international; Concessions, Public Law, EC Law and Antitrust Law, Corporate Law, International implementation of business, Negotiation of commercial agreements including M&A, local Law and implementation of Compliance programs worldwide, among others.

He has also been general counsel at Roadis and Isolux Corsan. Before that, he worked at several prestigious law firms as Uría Ménendez and White & Case.

He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Granada and holds a Master’s degree in European Law from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, and a postgraduate diploma in EU & Competition Law from Kings College London, among other postgraduate studies.
