Constanze Schulte joins Hoyng Rokh as partner

Hoyng Rokh Monegier (HRM) has hired Constanze Schulte as a partner. She joins from Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, where she was a partner, alongside Pablo de Luque, a senior associate who is dual-qualified as a lawyer and industrial property agent.

Schulte and De Luque have professional experience specialising in Soft IP (trademarks, designs and copyright). The new partner has extensive experience in national trademark prosecution and related contentious proceedings, as well as in the prosecution of trademarks and designs and portfolio management before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She also advises on the protection and defence of trademarks and designs and the international coordination of litigation in these areas, and has a recognised practice in geographical indications.

Pablo brings with him proceedings expertise before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office,
trademark filing strategy, oppositions, appeals, cancellation proceedings and portfolio
management.

Benoît Strowel, managing partner of HRM, says: “Constanze brings a
practice that complements our own perfectly. Bringing her and Pablo on board is an important
step in the next chapter of our Madrid Soft IP practice.”
