CMS Portugal has advised BPI Imofomento on the purchase of the Intercontinental Estoril Hotel
CMS Portugal has advised BPI Imofomento-Fundo de Investimento Imobiliário Aberto, on the purchase of the Hotel Intercontinental Estoril, from Fundo de Investimento Imobiliário Fechado Turístico II (managed by TF Turismo Fundos, SGOIC, S.A.)
BPI Imofomento invests in the real estate market benefiting from a semi-annual distribution of income. This fund invests mainly in a portfolio of properties in Portugal, predominantly in the Lisbon and Porto areas, and also favours sectoral diversification (offices, warehouses, shops, etc.), with low exposure to residential properties.
The CMS Portugal team that provided legal advice on the negotiation and formalisation of the acquisition of the asset, as well as in the negotiation and formalisation of the new agreement with the entity that explores the hotel, was, (pictured from left to right) led by the Real Estate partner, João Pinheiro da Silva, and also included Francisco Herculano, Sandra Arsénio and Ana Vieira Batista.
