CMS Portugal advises Atlas Copco on Neadvance acquisition

CMS Portugal advised the Swedish multinational Atlas Copco Group on the acquisition of the Portuguese software company for automation solutions, Neadvance Machine Vision. Atlas Copco Group develops technologies for compressed air and vacuum solutions, energy solutions, dehydration and industrial pumps, industrial power tools and assembly and machine vision solutions.

In October 2024, CMS Portugal had already advised the Swedish group on the acquisition of the compressed air and technical assistance distributor, Arlógica, from the Pinto Brasil Group.

The CMS Portugal team that advised Atlas Copco Group on this transaction was led by Tiago Valente de Oliveira (pictured), partner in the corporate M&A area. The team also included the senior associate Catarina Arriaga Sampaio, and associates Francisco Verdelho and João Fragoso Cardoso.
