CMS advises Portuguese startup Miio on investment round

CMS has advised the Portuguese electric mobility startup, Miio, on its latest investment round carried out by Portugal Ventures. The firm’s team, responsible for advisory services, was composed by Francisco Xavier de Almeida, Corporate M&A partner, David Apolónia, senior associate, and Gonçalo Cabral Moncada, associate, who form part of the same practice area.

CMS has also provided legal advice in areas related to regulatory and energy issues, through its Energy & Climate Change partner, Manuel Cassiano Neves, and an associate in the same practice area, Duarte Lacerda.

For Francisco Xavier de Almeida, “it is with great pleasure that we were involved in this investment round with one of the most promising national startups. It is also a sign that Portuguese entrepreneurs continue to favor CMS to help them grow their businesses.”

The miio application allows you to conveniently charge electric vehicles in Portugal, France and Spain, as well as knowing prices in advance and interacting with the community.
