CMS advised on the acquisition of part of the capital of Inden Pharma Packaging

CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised the Alpha Group on the acquisition of part of the capital of Inden Pharma Packaging for the formation of a joint venture with which it expects to reach a turnover of 200 million euros by the end of 2028. The transaction has been led by Luis Miguel de Dios (partner) and Jorge Peris (senior associate) in coordination with other international lawyers.

Alpla Group, is an austrian group, world leader in the development and manufacture of innovative plastic packaging solutions, with 23,300 employees and locations in 46 countries. Inden Pharma, on the other hand, is a spanish company that, thanks to selling packaging in 35 countries on 5 continents, has closed the 2022 financial year with a turnover of more than 30 million euros.

The alliance between Inden Pharma, based in Ibi, and the spanish division of the austrian group Alpla Pharma, aims to “lead the plastic packaging market for the pharmaceutical industry in five years” and reach “200 million euros in turnover by the end of 2028”, says the CEO and sole partner of Inden Pharma, Juan Guillem.

The transaction has been led by Luis Miguel de Dios (partner) and Jorge Peris (senior associate) in coordination with Alexander Rakosi (CMS Austria), Błażej Zagórski (CMS Poland) and Malte Bruhns (CMS Germany).
