Cipher and ECIJA form strategic alliance for cybersecurity

Cipher, the cybersecurity division of Prosegur Group, has announced a strategic partnership with ECIJA, a law firms specializing in digital economy and compliance. This collaboration aims to deliver comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and cybersecurity solutions across Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.

The agreement will help clients navigate and comply with the ever-evolving cybersecurity regulations in each country by integrating organizational, technical, and legal approaches. By combining Cipher’s expertise in cybersecurity architectures with ECIJA’s legal and regulatory acumen, the partnership will offer businesses a complete analysis of their security posture and a tailored action plan to meet various regulatory requirements, including DORA, NIS2 Directive, the National Security Framework, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

As part of this alliance, both companies will jointly develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions with a practical focus on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. In addition to xMDR, Cipher’s SPIP solution combines cybersecurity architects with ethical hackers to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, ultimately reducing implementation time and associated costs. Meanwhile, ECIJA will oversee the legal and organizational implementation of security measures, ensuring compliance with international standards.
