Cecília Meireles new partner at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão

Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão (an Auren member firm) has appointed Cecília Meireles, who took over as head of the Lisbon office in 2022, as partner in charge of the ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) area.

Cecília Meireles joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2022, where she coordinates the Lisbon office and works mainly in the Corporate area.

She holds a degree in Law from the Law School of the University of Coimbra and subsequently completed an MBA at Porto Business School. She started her professional activity in Porto and has been a member of the Bar Association since 2003.

She was a member of the Assembly of the Republic between 2009 and 2022, having worked, above all, in several parliamentary committees of enquiry and in the coordination of her party in the elaboration of the State Budget, as well as in the coordination of the financial and economic areas.

He also served as Secretary of State for Tourism in the 11th and 12th Legislatures.
