CD Tondela deal backed by Paramount Legal
Paramount Legal has advised Grupo Élite Gestión y Administración on the acquisition of a majority shareholding position in CD Tondela – Futebol SAD and on the definition of the development and construction model of the new Football Academy.
Grupo Élite Gestión y Administración is already a shareholder of Racing Club Ferrol and, with this acquisition, becomes the first group to own two clubs in the professional leagues of Spain and Portugal.
The new board of directors will be chaired by Gilberto Coimbra, who is also the president of Clube Desportivo de Tondela, along with Ignacio Rivera Quintana and Constantino Fernández Pico, both representatives of Grupo Élite Gestión y Administración. “CD Tondela and Grupo Élite Gestión y Administración will work together from now on to strengthen CD Tondela – Futebol SAD, as well as to achieve an important goal and dream of the Club: the construction of the new Football Academy”, states CD Tondela.
