Cases & Lacambra Guides J.C. Marlin in Mercury Hotel Debt Deal

Cases & Lacambra has advised J.C. Marlin Capital on the €32 million debt acquisition of the Mercury Hotel from Kempner Capital Management.

The Mercury Hotel is an emblematic four-star superior hotel located in the city of Santa Susanna on the Maresme Coast in Catalonia. It has 330 fully equipped rooms, adult and children’s pools, a bar with a terrace, conference rooms, a buffet restaurant, and a gym.

The acquisition has been made through its MG-IV, an investment vehicle led by J.C. Marlin Capital in which private equity, Spanish family offices and institutional investors from the United Arab Emirates have a majority stake.

The team was led by Real Estate Partner Marta González-Llera (pictured left) and included associates Paula Alarcón (pictured centre) and Rafael Baena (pictured right).
