Cardigos appoints David Nunes Fernandes as partner

Portuguese law firm Cardigos has promoted David Nunes Fernandes to partner for the Tax department

Nunes (pictured) practice focuses on advising clients on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other transactions, including spin-offs, restructurings and corporate joint ventures. He also works with clients on issues related to corporate finance and domestic and international taxation. The new partner has also been actively involved in several litigation cases, representing domestic and international clients in disputes involving commercial law before judicial courts as well as in arbitration. He arrived in the firm in 2011.
