Caldeira Pires welcomes two new partners

Caldeira Pires & Associados has promoted José Carlos Silva and Nuno Filipe Henriques (both pictured) to partners. They join Félix Bernardo, the managing partner, and Vicente Caldeira Pires, the founding partner, in the firm’s partners board.

José Carlos Silva has been an integral part of the firm since 2016. His expertise lies in civil and commercial litigation, where he has assisted companies with a variety of commercial disputes, both in court proceedings and voluntary arbitration. Additionally, he provides counsel in criminal litigation and administrative offences. Silva’s experience extends also to the sports sector, guiding athletes, agents, clubs, and sports organisations.

Nuno Filipe Henriques joined the firm in 2018 after working at RFF and PRA. Since his arrival, he has worked closely with founding partner Vicente Caldeira Pires, focusing on corporate and tax matters for the firm’s key clients. His practice encompasses advising on acquisitions, mergers, and corporate reorganizations, both domestically and internationally, across various sectors. He also provides tax advice to national and international businesses, assisting with the structuring of investments and asset management.

According to founding partner Vicente Caldeira Pires, “These promotions are a natural reflection of the talent and dedication of these two colleagues, as well as the significant impact they have made on the growth and enhancement of our practice areas and the firm itself. They exemplify outstanding technical skills and a commitment to providing personalized, attentive service to our clients, which have been pillars of our firm since its establishment in 2014.”

Félix Bernardo, managing partner, adds that “these progressions reflect our commitment to valuing the personal and professional qualities of our team. We want to continue to grow in a sustained manner and, whenever possible, focus on a strategy of organic growth”.
