Broseta advises La Pajarita in its integration into The Army Painter

Broseta has advised Carlos Grollo in the sale of 100% of the assets and liabilities that make up the paint business unit La Pajarita, to the Spanish subsidiary of the Danish group The Army Painter, owned by the fund CataCap Management A/S.

La Pajarita, a paint manufacturer, founded in 1928 the first store in Valencia and has been a benchmark in the sector practically since its foundation.

After the transaction, a new project arises, with national and international vocation and enormous potential for development in its sector. We highlight that the complexity of this operation, in addition to the complexity of all M&A operations, has consisted in negotiating the APA, subject to Danish law, in a cross-border matter that has involved several legal advisors.

On behalf of Broseta, Alejandro Ríos, partner of the Commercial Law area and director of the Valencia office, Rafael Lillo and Lucía Maronda, senior associate and associate, respectively, of the commercial team, have participated.
