Broseta absorbs insurance firm Azsure Abogados
Broseta has integrated Azsure Abogados, a boutique firm specialising in insurance and reinsurance law, bringing its total headcount to approximately 300 professionals across offices in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Lisbon, and Zurich.
Azsure Abogados brings a team of 10 professionals to Broseta, led by founding partners Jesús Vélez and José María Araúz de Robles, alongside partners Javier Goizueta and Bárbara Mambrila. The firm has built its practice around commercial litigation, civil liability, large-loss claims management, regulatory advice, M&A, and tax matters, acting for both insurers and domestic and international corporates.
Azsure Abogados and its partners have been recognised by Legal 500 in the Insurance category, with Jesús Vélez also noted by Chambers & Partners in the same practice area. The firm is a member of the Insulaw International network and the International Insurance Law Association.
