Bono joining Cremades

José Bono, former president of the Congress of Deputies, has joined the advisory board of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo. Bono returns to practice after spending 32 years working in Spain’s PSOE party, including a time as Minister of Defence in Zapatero’s first government.

He will focus on administrative law issues, such as expropriations, liability and executions, and also with the regulated industries department, which deals with telecoms, energy and infrastructure, among others.
“Bono’s addition to the firm´s advisory council is in line with the firm’s strategic aim of incorporating the best professionals and talent,” says Javier Cremades, the President of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo.
This latest addition follows a trend of law firms incorporating politicians into their offices. Indeed, the Cremades’s Advisory Board is chaired by Josep Piqué, a former Minister in the PP and Chairman of Vueling PP. Other members of the advisory board include President of Campsa – José Luis Díaz Fernández, President of Iberia – Fernando Conte, and President of Hewlett-Packard Spain – Juan Soto.
