Blanca Rodríguez Lainz, new global head of Talent at Ontier

Ontier has hired Blanca Rodríguez Lainz, from Prinzipal Partners, as global head of Talent to lead the firm’s global talent strategy.

With more than two decades of experience in talent management in the legal sector, Rodríguez holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with extensive postgraduate and management development training, Rodríguez Lainz has developed an outstanding career in important firms and consulting firms in the sector in Spain and Latin America.

Between 2007 and 2016, he played a very active role in the HR, internal communication and corporate culture area at Cuatrecasas, led the talent area at CMS between 2021 and 2024 and has led the tax&legal vertical at Prinzipal Partners in his last stage as head hunter. Her career is complemented with experience in international consulting firms and in highly demanding environments. She is a partner of Eje&Con, member of the advisory board of GLTH and associate professor in different universities, actively participating in projects related to the promotion of talent, skills development and professional careers with different foundations and associations.

The firm has expressed in a statement that the incorporation of Rodríguez Lainz takes place in “a context of structural challenges for the legal sector”. These include the need to adapt to the digital revolution, the growing competition in attracting and retaining talent, and the need to adapt to the changes demanded by a constantly evolving market.

In the same vein, Blanca Rodriguez emphasizes that “in this time of revolution that is changing everything and where talent areas are increasingly strategic, I am excited to be part of the change in such a disruptive and innovative model with a vision, values, purpose and people that I share 100%”.
