BDO Abogados integrates Moragas Legal
BDO Abogados has integrated Moragas Legal, a Barcelona firm specialised in legal services for insurance companies, businesses and individuals, with effect from 1 July 2026. The move strengthens BDO Abogados’ Litigation practice and expands its advisory capacity in insurance law and civil liability matters.
The integration brings BDO Abogados a team of lawyers with experience in insurance-sector matters, covering both litigation and recurring legal advice to companies, intermediaries, businesses and individuals. The team is led by Emili Moragas Freixa, who joins as Of Counsel, and Antonio Gallardo Muñoz, who takes on the role of director. Both bring a track record in handling and defending civil liability claims, dispute resolution and specialised insurance law advice.
The transaction forms part of BDO Abogados’ growth and specialisation strategy, aimed at expanding its capabilities in complex litigation, insurance and civil liability matters.
The team behind the move
On the BDO Abogados side, the integration was overseen by Adolfo Soria, managing partner for legal at BDO Abogados Barcelona, and Ricardo Balansó, head of the Litigation department at BDO Abogados’ Barcelona office.
