BBVA completes first synthetic securitization using a Spanish securitisation fund: Advisors
A&O Shearman has advised BBVA on its first synthetic securitisation using a Spanish securitisation fund (fondo de titulización) over a protected portfolio of €3b and on the issuance of credit linked notes for an amount of €190 million.
This transaction represents a significant step for BBVA in exploring new financial structuring techniques.
