Baylos recruits Alberto Casado as of counsel

Madrid-headquartered law firm Baylos has recruited Alberto Casado as of counsel.

Baylos specialises in the areas of industrial and intellectual property.

Casado was vice president of the European Patent Office (EPO) until the end of 2018.

Previously, he had been vice-president of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Casado has also represented Spain when negotiating intellectual property treatises involving the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization.
